Our structured approach simplifies decision-making, keeping your project on track while delivering a stress-free, well-coordinated design journey.

This initial phase establishes a clear foundation for the project and ensures alignment before design begins.

What to Expect

  • One-to-one consultations to discuss goals, priorities, budget, and timeline
  • Review of existing documentation, including surveys, zoning regulations, HOA requirements, and prior drawings
  • Site visit to assess environmental factors, zoning constraints, and design opportunities
  • Discussion of key project constraints, risks, and overall feasibility
  • Development of a preliminary architectural program outlining space needs and functional goals
  • Early, high-level budget alignment to confirm expectations

Deliverables

  • Project Roadmap Document summarizing key takeaways, proposed next steps, and anticipated project phases
  • Site & Feasibility Report including zoning considerations and high-level project goals
  • Architectural Program outlining size, function, and priorities

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide relevant property documentation (survey, geotechnical reports, HOA guidelines, previous plans)
  • Be transparent about vision, budget, and potential constraints
  • Review and approve the project program and overall direction
  • Authorize engagement of required consultants (e.g., geotechnical, structural)

Client Responsibilities

  • Select a preferred design direction
  • Participate in early budgeting discussions, if applicable
  • Select a contractor if not already engaged

Following the final walkthrough and completion of the punch list, we provide a comprehensive project binder containing all essential documents, drawings, and specifications for future reference. We also offer a complimentary post-occupancy consultation to ensure your home continues to function seamlessly and align with your evolving lifestyle. Our commitment doesn’t end when construction does—we’re here for the long term, supporting you well beyond move-in.
